Last Leap ... Last Run ... Last Post ...

We are all gathered here today to celebrate the final conclusion of Project 2. Deadline is at 6pm. Our group make the last final jump, final leap to the light of improvement.

Struggling to get the graphics nicely done, struggling to combine grahics with visuals, struggling to add in the last necessary graphics that we almost forgot and finally struggling to make sure the visuals follow the music background beat.

And now I shall pronounce you both lawfully husband and wife. We render it and waited and waited and waited. It is DONE! We watch and watch and rewatch. Finally, yes, we can hand in. It is FINALISED!







P.S Hmmm ... I wonder where Rizwan went? He didn't come ...

Day 16 to 17

Monday i was so late for my meeting with them. Arrived at school at 1pm. Could not find them so i thought they went home after their discussion. I could not finished the flipping of pages and open cover book. So i continued doing till Tuesday.

Tuesday i also did not meet up with them but i managed to send over the documents or work that i have. They stress me.. I stress them... Everyone is getting worried we won't be able to finish.
Original turning of a page. I did it in Flash document.





Edited turning of a page. The "Presents" word was suppose to be placed with this: 'A Mini Story Inspired By Fable Tales'. Combination, you can say so? Looks better doesn't it? I say MeiMei and Tina have good taste!





I did an animated opening of book cover in flash form. A little sucky to me. Still feel like editing it to a better one. But lacking of time.

Weekend i managed to finish up our CD Cover. It was even just edited... the font i mean.. because our storybook is going to use parchment as its font. I shall use that. The theme i did for the design was a family portrait.





Another one is just the different position of animals.





It was to follow this positions.





However, in the end, there wasn't the need for a CD design.

P.S I wonder what happens to the audio? Is it ready to go?

Day 15 - Interim 2

I missed the front part of Interim 2 but MeiMei filled me in. This is what that was needed to be changed:

1) Change the story part of Lion passing notes to Chicken or maybe even remove it.

2) Have a line such as "Actually...." or even literately play and have fun with graphics since we are using graphics.

3) Lecturer also suggested using fantasy music background.

4) MeiMei suggested placing the bad happenings to the front of the video, then ending it with all the actually what had happened.

5) Then the ideas start coming in with storybook method. Flipping of pages, 'SHREK' method; zooming into the storybook that has visuals running on one side of the book and words description 'typing-out' on another side.

6) 'Chapters' were included.

Tasks were given out:
MeiMei - finding fonts for the words that will be used in storybook.
Tina - design 'border look'. Find fantasy music background as well.
JunHan - design cd cover, get storybook drawn out.
Rizwan - still doing trailer??? Logo design.

Day 14

I came in late today. Woke up late and was raining cats and dogs. I could only just send to Tina the songs i gotten for the video. It seems that there was a need for more music background. After i passed it to her, it seems that i totally forgot about copyrighted issues. =_=" I think the best we could do was credit the song to the author.

I have just read finished Yoke Ee's comment. Finally understood. Thanks alot! ^^

Another job given to me: design the cd cover. >.< Im so worried i will produce a bad one since im lousy at designing. Have it ready by Monday too.

Rizwan was given to job to design the logo. MeiMei and Tina are in-charge of placing in the music background as it fit and also the credits section.

Lots of work to do... GO HIDDEN VOICES PRODUCTION~~ GO! GO! GO!

Day 13

MeiMei and Tina continued doing the audio ajustments like making sure all the audio comes in at the right time as the visuals. They managed to finish recording the audio voices.

After which, i was told to continue with search of music background. Seems that there isn't enough.

Rizwan.... didn't come today... says want to do finish the trailer.....

In my opinion, I think there is not any nescessary to make one. We are not even promoting or advertising our video out in public. If he actually wanted to do it, he should have done it before Interim 1. Which then can be used and shown to people...

Haiz.. really waste of time.......

Day 12

Tina came early in the morning to start on the Audio. We were hoping to try using Match and Mix Music Library animal noises to change their tones and volumes to give the feeling of expression in their speeches. But it could not work out.

So we had to ask Syafiq help us in making animal voices and we record them. Some were done by Froggy. While the recording was going on, we also needed to export out the video in scene by scene, especially since yesterday didn't have time to export out any. All thanks to the crashing of FCP.

Day 11

Our video is half done. We showed lecturer the offline editing but she just said that we need to place them all together because she still can't understand the video well enough. She also suggested to place in subtitles so as to be able understand.

So we placed in Subtitles for most of the day just because FCP half-way crashed. Great~...

Our graphics are also done. All thanks to MeiMei for her hardwork. They are so cute and wonderful.

Day 10 - Offline Editing

We finally did our offline Editing. All ready to go for audio. But it took us almost the whole day, especially when there was a last minute of gathering to attend a talk, so we pushed our audio to Monday.

MeiMei did the offline editing while the rest of us find audio music background.

Day 09 - Final day of filming

Just one scene left to film. Classroom bully. Woots~








We also digitised our video shots into the computer. All ready to do offline editing anytime soon.





And also laughing at all the bloopers that is played. Letting the talents watch their acting. It is so hilarious.

Day 08 - 3rd day filming

Before our lunch, we had our filming at a bus stop. And from our script we needed to film from across the road. And definitely, we cannot possibly be screaming across the road to each other. Therefore, MeiMei and Tina contacted each other through their handphone to tell the talents how should they act.

Cameraman became MeiMei? Nope. Is just trying out being a dolly. Because we forgot to borrow one from the equipment store.

There is also one funny incident that happened. Our cameraman, rizwan whom acted as the old man, fell asleep while acting. LOL. Way to go~ Too comfortable for him. Here is the evidence.





Tina was even having her hand waving in front of his face. This is so hilarious.
